Sami Aboul Azm (born 1967) studied at the faculty of Art Education and received his PhD in 2008. He began his career by collaborating in Youth Salons and National exhibitions and later became a well-known and established artist; he was distinguished by his distinctive realistic style, especially with Figurative Art which is mixed with philosophic and glimmering subject matters. Aboul Azm’s art incorporates Figurative Art, Still Life and Landscape unlikely outside the control of the shape and emphasizes on moral presence, respecting the meanings behind the appearance of the unrealistic.
Before Dawn
The first light after long nights is just a tiny distance between night and light. Such brief moment when light is so dim swiftly creates a divine psychological dreamy mode and magical charm, which overwhelm everything around it, when night and light suddenly blend until daylight flourishes…The borderless first light is always full of memories, fears, and illusions. At this moment, things and beings undress their reality creating an honest dialogue between everything present… At this moment we find that the window’s broken glass which we over look life through it suddenly vanishes, leaving nothing seems as it really is.

تقوم قاعة المسار للفن المعاصر الثلاثاء 13 ديسمبر بأفتتاح معرض ” قبل الضوء ” للفنان المتميز سامي أبو العزم والذي يعد ثاني معارضه الفردية بقاعة المسار والذي يقدم به أعماله الأخيرة المستوحاه من فلسفة ما قبل ضوء النهار و تأثيره علي التعبير. ولد سامى أبوالعزم عام 1967 فى مصر ودرس فى كلية التربية الفنية وحصل على الدكتوراه فى عام2008 ، بدأ حياته الفنية بالأشتراك فى صالونات الشباب والمعارض القومية حتى أصبح فنان معروف فى الساحة الفنية، تتميز أعماله بأسلوب واقعى متميز خاصة فى فن التشخيص الذى يجسد موضوعات ذات بعد فلسفى، فن أبو العزم يتضمن التشخيص والطبيعة الصامتة والمناظر الطبيعية بأسلوب غير تقليدى والذى يركز على حضور الأشياء مع احترامه للمعانى الكامنة وراء المظهر الغير تقليدى.
:قبل الضوء
الضوء الأول للصباح هو الحد الفاصل بين الليل والنهار ، و يقول: بهذه الفترة القصيرة جداً, الخافتة الضوء و الهادئة, تُفرَض حالة سيكولوجية حالمة على كل شيئ بما لها من طبيعة ذات سحر غامض ، يشترك فيها الليل والنهار معا الى ان ينسحب الليل تاركا مكانه لضوء النهار . الضوء الأول ليس له حدودا مغلقة، بل تتزاحم خلاله الذكريات والمخاوف والأوهام , و حين ذلك لا شيء يبدو كما هو ، بل تظهر الأشياء والكائنات وكأنها تناجى نفسها بلا زيف ولا أفتعال، حتى أقل الأشياء أهمية تصبح لها مهابة الحضور, و في هذه اللحظة نجد أن لوح الزجاج المشروخ الذى ننظر من خلاله على العالم يتداعى وينهار , و هنا لا شيء يبدو ابداً كما هو.يستمر المعرض حتي17 يناير 2017
