Al Masar Gallery is delighted to present the fourth Solo Exhibition by established Artist Sami Aboul Azm ,Titled: ON A SOLE CHORD, and showcasing his new work, which is a visible continuity to his path into Contemporary Realism Art for more than two decades. His recent production encapsulates multiple themes of Silence, Figures, Objects, serenity, and sensuality in using the earth and natural colors that play out between the landscapes, the sea, the clouds, and the horizon. In this Exhibition, the Artist is inspired by his readings in old literature, such as theatrical plays written by Shakespeare and Melville, which inspired his recent works.
Aboul Azm was born 1967, in Damietta, and currently living and working in Cairo… He also works as an Art Professor at the Faculty of Art Education until today.

علي وتر واحد.. يعد المعرض الفردي الرابع للفنان سامي أبو العزم بقاعة المسار للفن المعاصر, يضم أعماله الأخيرة و التي تؤكد علي أستمرار ية مساره في الواقعية المصرية المعاصرة.. المعرض مستوحي من قراءات الفنان بالأدب الأنجليزي و الأمريكي القديم لأعمال مسرحية كتبها ِشكسبير و ميلفيل في القرن السابع عشر و التاسع عشر.. هذا المعرض الهام علي ساحة الفن التشكيلي بمصر سيتضمن اللوحات الأخيرة للفنان و التي تؤكد علي أستمراريتة بخطي راسخة في الأبداع بالواقعية المعاصرة, و هو المسار الذي بدأه الفنان منذ عدة عقود ماضية..

لا عجب أن يكون البحر عدوا للأنسان فأن الأنسان لغريب عنه ..فهو يدفع بأقوى الحيتان نحو الصخور الى جانب حطام السفن المتناثرة.. لا رحمة لديه ولا قوة تردعه الا قوته.. تأمل كل هذا ثم أعطف ببصرك نحو هذه الأرض الخضراء الوديعة اللينة. تأمل كليهما “أعنى البحر والبر”, ألا ترى فيهما شبها لشيء مستقر فى نفسك؟ اذ مثلما أن هذا المحيط المجهول يحف بهذا البر الأخضر كذلك, فأن فى روح الأنسان جزيرة حافلة بالسلام والبهجة و كأنها تاهيتى, ومحفوفة بمرعبات هذه الحياة التى لم تكد تنجلى لنا, رعاك الله.. لن تغادر تلك الجزيرة فانك ان غادرتها, فلن تعود اليها ابدا..
