AL MASAR GALLERY delighted to present the Solo Exhibition, Titled ‘THE DESERT… A Mirror of Life’, by renowned & Talented Artist GHADA MOURAD (B. 1977). On view until February 27th.
This fourth Solo Exhibition of the Artist will showcase her recent works featuring her visible continuity into Abstract Art for more than two decades. Her recent production encapsulates multiple themes of memories and imagination on life in the Desert, while Such shows a deep sensuality in using the earth and natural colors that play out between the lines and composition of her abstract style.
Artist Statement | THE DESERT… A Mirror of Life
Between its tranquility and vibrant modes, the Desert spreads as a wide white page resembling Man’s journey into Life. In every corner of its sand one finds stories that are being told on its stillness, cautiousness, breath taking Storm and about the Story teller sharing secrets of past times.
The Desert, with its immensely wide scale and divine silence, allows one a chance to contemplate and self-exploration, while the Desert unveils the balance between serenity and expectation. It is where we learn how to quietly concur our deepest fears of what the horizon may holds.
Then comes the Storm, that strong expression of moments in life that shivers us like a Desert Storm. Thus the strength within our inner selves confronts those moments and obliges us to resist, then to afterwards discover that we are stronger than what we have anticipated.… (Ghada Mourad, 2025).
Ghada Mourad, graduated, 1999 from the Faculty of Arts, Cairo. Her two Solo Exhibition At Al Masar Gallery were titled: “Visual Memories”, 2019 and daydream, 2021, were following her Participation at group Exhibitions, titled “Contemporary Views “, 2018 to 2021, and 2022 at Al Masar Gallery.. The Artist also participated at the Bijing international Biennale, 2012, and many other group Exhibitions since 2000… The Artist is represented by Al Masar Gallery.

تتشرف قاعة المسار للفن المعاصر بتقديم المعرض الفرديالرابع و الهام بعنوان: ” الصحراء.. مراَة الحياة ” , للفنانه المتميزه غادة مراد (م. 5791), و الذي سيستمر حتي السابع و العشرون من فبراير .
المعرض يضم أعمالها الأخيرة و التي تؤكد علي أستمرار ية مسارها في الفن التجريدي.. الأعمال مستوحاه من أنطباع الفنانة عن خيالها و أنطباعها عن الحياة و الترحال بالصحراء , و الذي يولد حوار داخلي و مشاهد تجريدية تجسدها الفنانة في أعمالها الأخيرة .. و يؤكد علي أستمراريتها بخطي راسخة في الأبداع بالفن التجريدي, و هو المسار الذي بدأته الفنانه منذ نحو خمسة و عشرون عاماً..
الصحراء | مراَة الحياة
ما بين هدوئها وصخبها، تمتد الصحراء كصفحة بيضاء واسعة تمثل رحلة الإنسان في مواجهة الحياة. ففي كل زاوية من رمالها نجد قصصًا تُروي عن الهدوء, عن الحذر، عن عاصفة تحبس الأنفاس، وعن الراوي الذي يحكي أسرار الزمن.
الصحراء، بما فيها من امتداد شاسع وسكون آسر، تتيح للإنسان فرصة للتأمل واكتشاف الذات في سكون و ترقب، بينما ما تتحدث هذه الصحراء عن التوازن بين السكينة والترقب. إنها للمكان الذي نتعلم منه مواجهة مخاوفنا بصمت والتأقلم مع ما قد يخبئه الأفق. ثم تأتي “العاصفة”، ذلك التعبير القوي عن لحظات الحياة التي تهزنا من جذورنا. كالصحراء حين تهب عليها الرياح، فتتحدى هذه اللحظات قوتنا الداخلية وتجبرنا على الصمود، لنكتشف بعدها أننا أقوى مما كنا نعتقد… (غادة مراد , 2025.)
حصلت غادة مراد علي بكالوريوس كلية التربية الفنية عام 1999 وشاركت فى العديد من المعارض المحلية و الدولية , أخرهم :- المعرضان الفرديان بقاعة المسار للفن المعاصر بعنوان ” ذكريات بصرية “, 2019, و “أحلام اليقظة”, 2022, و عام 2022. و شاركت بالمسار في معارض جماعية بعنوان “رؤي معاصرة” من 2018 حتي 2024. كما شاركت ببينالي بكين الدولي ,2012, و المعرض العام فى دورتيه, 2012 & 2013 , مهرجان الابداع التشكيلى الثالث والرابع, 2009 & 2010, و صالون الخريف الرابع للاعمال الصغيرة, 2020.
