Al Masar Gallery | Contemporary Art has the pleasure to announce the inauguration of its new venue Al Masar Gallery | The Art Lounge located at the same address of Al Masar Gallery in Zamalek.
The Art Lounge will be the gallery’s new art hub showcasing the gallery’s collection of masterpieces by artists from different generations of the Egyptian Art Movement from the artists of the 20 century’s Egyptian Modern Art, the third generation, to the established young artists of the 6th generation. Al Masar Gallery confirmed in its inaugural statement in 2008 that it as an art platform it is committed to promoting young artists to the world so The Art Lounge will showcase the works of the highly talented younger artists of Al Masar Gallery by hosting their first solo exhibitions this season. The Art Lounge promises rich and interesting curated exhibitions which will give art collectors an overview of the evolution of the Egyptian Art Movement across the generations as well as educated and enrich the artistic knowledge of art students and art lovers.
Premier Exhibition
Masterpieces | Paintings & Sculptures by Gallery Artists
“Masterpieces” is The Art Lounge’s premier exhibition showcasing a selection of masterpieces by some of the gallery’s finest late, modern & contemporary Egyptian artists who have marked milestones on the art’s path as well as the works from different generations of the renowned Egyptian Art Movement. The exhibition will present the evolution of Egypt’s eminent artists starting with the stars of the 20th century’s Egyptian Modern Art; late artists, the pioneers of the third, fourth & fifth generations, up until the young & vibrant artists of the sixth generation of the Egyptian Art Movement.
