Al Masar Gallery is delighted to present the Third Solo Exhibition by talented and renowned Artist Ghada Mourad (B. 1977) Titled: DESERT SAFARI, which will showcase her recent works featuring is a visible continuity to his path into Abstract Art for more than two decades. Her recent production encapsulates multiple themes of memories and imagination on a Safari in the Desert. Such shows deep sensuality in using the earth and natural colors that play out between the lines and composition of her abstract style.
Artist Statement | DESERT SAFARI
While we get ready to go on a Journey searching for peacefulness, quietness and simplicity while leaving life’s burdens and its details behind, one start looking for the perfect and serene refuge of peace of mind and heart. Such a safari in the Sahara or an Oasis that fulfils our souls with memories of a simple deserted place where one can finally find himself.
It’s a Safari to places full of none revealed mysteries and imagination, as well the simplicity of life which makes it a place with special magic, that somewhere hides a well or an Oasis… (Antoine De Saint, French Author)… As for Contemplating the eyes of those who lives there, one realizes the meaning of living by a pure water spring, awaiting you to quench your thirst, swim in its crystal water while Mystical hidden Cypress Spring waiting to emanate its water, welcoming travelers, Birds or Animals, and That’s what lies within this strong but tender Desert… Those are the Desert Manners which one impulsively acquires upon that first step into it, and then swiftly i just imagine those golden hills, just as an ancient Story teller.
In my recent works, I visually summarize Days spent in a Safari within a Desert full of imaginary lines, rich warm colors and lucid abstract compositions of a world full of invisible images… So let’s go on Safari into the Sahara that is full of imagination and rich visual memories… (Ghada Mourad, 2022).
Ghada Mourad, graduated, 1999 from the Faculty of Arts, Cairo. Her two Solo Exhibition At Al Masar Gallery were titled: “Visual Memories”, 2019 and daydream, 2021, were following her Participation at group Exhibitions, titled “Contemporary Views “, 2018 to 2021, at Al Masar Gallery.. The Artist also participated at the Bijing international Biennale, 2012, and many other group Exhibitions since 2000… The Artist is represented by Al Masar Gallery.

سفاري الصحراء | غادة مراد
هذا المعرض هو الفردي الثالث للفنانه غادة مراد بقاعة المسار للفن المعاصر, و يضم أعمالها الأخيرة و التي تؤكد علي أستمرار ية مسارها في الفن التجريدي.. الأعمال مستوحاه من أنطباع الفنانة من واقع خيالها عن الترحال بالصحراء , و الذي يوَلد حوار داخلي و مشاهد تجريدية تجسدها الفنانة في أعمالها الأخيرة .. و يؤكد علي أستمراريتها بخطي راسخة في الأبداع بالفن التجريدي, و هو المسار الذي بدأته الفنانه منذ نحو ثلاثة و عشرون عاماً..
سفاري الصحراء
حينما نستعد لرحله نبحث فيها عن الهدوء والراحه والبساطة لنتخلص من أعباء وقيود الحياه المليئه بالتفاصيل, نزهد بتفاصيلنا الخاصه و نبدأ بالبحث عن المكان المثالي لإراحه العقل والوجدان, مثال سفاري لواحه ما لتملئنا بذكريات عن مكان بسيط يملئه العزله التي يجد فيها الشخص ذاته. انها سفاري لأماكن مليئة بالغرائب والخيال وبساطه الحياه بعينها مما يجعل الصحراء ذات سحر خاص, و هي تخفي نبع ماء أو واحه ما في مكان ما هناك و هذا نقلا عن عن لكاتب الفرنسي أنطوان دو سان.
و بتأمل ساكني هذا المكان تفهم من أعينهم معني الحياه في جوار نبع ماء صافي ينتظرك لترتوي وتسبح في مياهه الصافيه.. أما عين السرو, فتلك هي العين الغامضه التي تكمن تحت الارض الي أن يأتي من يقف فوقها لتبدأ بالتدفق بالمياه مرحبًة بكل إنسان أو طير أو حيوان. أن كل هذا فهو من داخل أحضان هذه الصحراء القويه و الحنونه.. تلك هي اخلاق الصحراء, نكتسبها مع أول خطوه نخطوها بها.. و لذا فأنني أتصور الجبال كالراوي الذي يحكي قصص من قديم الزمان.. أما في أعمالي الأخيرة, فأنني ألخص بها أيام قضيناها بسفاري مليئه بخطوط من وحي الخيال, تسكنها ألوان و تدفقات تجريدية لمساحات لونيه من عالم مليئ بمشاهد غير مرئية.. فلنسافر معا لنخيم علي تلك الأرض الزاخرة بالكثير من الخيال لرحله سفاري.

حصلت غادة مراد علي بكالوريوس كلية التربية الفنية عام 1999 وشاركت فى العديد من المعارض المحلية و الدولية , أخرهم :- المعرضان الفرديان بقاعة المسار للفن المعاصر بعنوان ” ذكريات بصرية “, 2019, و “أحلام اليقظة”, 2021. و شاركت بالمسار في معارض جماعية بعنوان “رؤي معاصرة” من 2018 حتي 2021. كما شاركت ببينالي بكين الدولي ,2012, و المعرض العام فى دورتيه, 2012 & 2013 , مهرجان الابداع التشكيلى الثالث والرابع, 2009 & 2010, و صالون الخريف الرابع للاعمال الصغيرة, 2010.. الفنانة غادة مراد تمثلها قاعة المسار للفن المعاصر.
